Kemuliaan: doa kepada Trinitas yang Kudus
Doa kemuliaan, yang juga dikenal dengan Doxologi merupakan salah satu doa paling tua yang kita kenal, untuk memuliakan Trinitas, dalam ritus Katolik Timur (dan juga pada Gereja Ortodok Timur), terlebih dahulu dibuat Tanda Salib sebelum mengucapkan doa Kemuliaan ini.
Ungkapan pujian singkat kepada Trinitas dari Gereja purba. Pengarang seperti Hippolytus (tahun 235) dan
Origen (kira-kira tahun 231) menggunakan kalimat yang hampir sama dalam memuliakan Trinitas. Bentuknya menjadi pasti seperti yang kita miliki saat ini sejak berlangsungnya kontroversi Arian di abad ke 4 yang lalu. Doa ini digunakan secara luas dalam Misa, Tahta Suci, dan juga dalam begitu banyak doa devosi seperti Rosario misalnya.----------

The Glory Be: A Prayer to the Holy Trinity
The Glory Be, also known as the Doxology, is one of the earliest-known prayers to refer to the Holy Trinity. In Eastern Rite Catholic churches (as well as Eastern Orthodox ones), the Sign of the Cross is made while the Glory Be is recited.
A short expression of praise to the Trinity from the very early Church. Authors such as Hippolytus (d. 235) and Origen (ca 231) use very similar phrases in praise of the Trinity. The form became fixed to what we have today by the time of the Arian controversies of the 4th century. It is used extensively in the Mass, the Divine Office, and also many other devotions such as the Rosary.
